MARCH To do List:

I've decided to make another monthly post and see what you guys think.

We all have daily to do lists but I wanted to start a monthly one. A list of goals I want to achieve during the month. Just a list to keep me accountable and ensure my mind is in the right space for achieving what I want.

Here is my March To Do List:

GO TO THE GYM 12 TIMES - I I I I I I I I I

Actually much better than I thought I would do. Maybe next month if I aim for 20, I'll hit 12!

GO TO THE PARK 4 TIMES - I I I I

All gorgeous trips to the park. Achilles always has such a fun time.

TAKE A DAY TRIP TO SAMFORD

We were lucky enough to be given a test drive car for the weekend so we took it out driving.

DRINK 3L OF WATER EVERY DAY (from the date of this post haha)

I can honestly say I didn't achieve this one. I was HORRIBLE with my water consumption all month.

TAKE A DAILY VITAMIN

I had to stop taking my multi as my iron levels were too high! I have never had high iron in my life!

TAKE A DAY OR NIGHT TO MYSELF - I

I got to go out to the Australian Hair Industry Awards night with my beauty blogger besties. Was such a great night and was great to be out just me.. felt really weird but nice.

GO ON A DATE AT NIGHT TIME

This didn't happen :( We need to source a local, reliable baby sitter I think so we have someone we can call on for date nights. If anyone knows a sitter or someone working in child care that would like some extra money, please let me know!

GO ON A REALLY LONG WALK

This also didn't happen. I chose gym instead.

START READING A BOOK

This happened this week! I haven't finished the book but I did start it!

MEDITATE

Not even once! :-(

IGNORE THE NEGATIVE

Goal = achieved. This month was so damn positive and I managed to get all my friends on board too. It's so nice to just be able to have positive, happy conversations and focus on everything that is amazing in our lives!

________________________

These are all things I want to get done/ do this month. I really want to focus on ignoring the negative in my life. It is so extremely easy to get caught up in negative conversation. Whether it's about other people or just about life in general. It's time to start fighting back with positivity and focusing on what is good in your life instead of all of the bad things.

Ben and I haven't been on a date without Achilles. EVER. So it would be really nice if we could organise some time alone. This may not happen given we don't have a lot of people who live close to us to do this for us but maybe we can work something out.

Time to myself is a whole other ball game. This hasn't happened very often over the last year at all and I need to start doing it more. It will be good for me and it will be good for my family for me to take some time to myself. Maybe get a cheeky pedicure and manicure while I am there. Who knows.

Ben and I started evening meditation earlier this year using the Headspace app but we kind of just forgot about it. I really want to bring this 10 minutes of silent us time back in to our lives as we both really enjoyed taking the time to relax.

What's on your TO DO list this month?!

Keep smiling!

Tahana xo

  5. This was quite motivating. I think establishing monthly goals is so much easier then setting larger goals. Sometimes little goals are are a big victory and knowing you've ticked a few things off your list definitely can give you that push to tackle the bigger goals we have.
