March 2016 Favourites

Ok so it's April... don't panic.. I'm not about to be a Mum any second now or anything! This year is literally going by in a flash but I guess I can't complain because most women seem to say how the third trimester of pregnancy lasts forever. Not for me! Even though maternity leave is pretty boring without actually having the baby yet. Everything is done and ready, we just need A now!

March has been a big month for me product wise. I've been using so many different things and you'll see from my pregnancy skin care post here that I am literally DROWNING in skin care. And the products just keep on coming! So post pregnancy I will have even more new and exciting products to share with you that I haven't been able to use with the baby in my belly!

Here they are... The MARCH Favourites! Enjoy!

BECCA After Glow Palette RRP AUD$70

Literal Heaven in a palette. I've never used something more gorgeous. This amazing palette boasts three shimmering skin perfectors and two mineral blushes. I actually LOVE them all. From left to right we have: Moonstone -  Perfect for highlighting - probably more suited to fairer skin but I like it for a subtle every day highlight when I'm not feeling Champagne Pop glam, Rose Gold - add this to your blush instead of moonstone and your cheeks will look incredible (photo below) I just love how its a double blush/ highlight!, Topaz - This one I haven't used as much as the others as its a bronze coloured highlight and I haven't been overly tanned this Summer due to the weather being literally too hot for a pregnant woman to exist in but this would be perfect to achieve a bronzed dewy look!, Wild Honey - gorgeous neutral blush colour for every day looks, Flowerchild - My new HG blush colour. I LOVE this by itself and even more when I add Rose Gold to it as a highlight. This blush is BEAUTIFUL and I actually will be picking up the full size when this runs out. All of these shades are ridiculously creamy and pigmented. Could not recommend this palette more. I bought mine from however, you can also purchase from Sephora.

My drugstore dupe for Benefit's Roller Lash. With the thin wand and small plastic bristles, this mascara gets in and really adds length to your lashes (wearing it in the photo above as well). I'm not a volume girl, I like more length and this mascara is perfect for me. I feel like it really does 'supersize' my lashes and make them ridiculously long! It stays all day, doesn't smudge and it's relatively easy to get off with a makeup remover wipe. I can see this one being in my collection for a long time given its super affordable price!

Too Faced Melted Liptstick - Nude RRP AUD$33.00

I am also wearing this one in the photo above (have pretty much been wearing the same face for days because I'm in love with all of the products). This is one of my top nude lipsticks and right now it's my number 1. This changes between this one, Velvet Teddy and the Maybelinne Colour Drama in Nude perfection. I love that this one does have a bit of a wet look to it and it's not as matte as the other two. The staying power isn't fantastic but I don't mind reapplying during the day to be honest, keeps the lips looking fresh! I am definitely in the market for some more of these Melted Lipsticks by Two Faced, I just LOVE the formula!

Elizabeth Arden Flawless Start Instant Perfecting Primer* RRP AUD$48.00

I'm not going to rave on too much about this as I did a review here but OMG. Best primer I have ever used in my entire life. I'll never need another. Honest. Read my review and if it sounds like something that will work for you, get it, thank me and never turn back!

Metta Skincare Lip Balm* RRP AUD$12.00

I am LOVING the Metta range. I feature all of their products in my skincare post here but this lip balm has given life back to my lips over the last few weeks. I am assuming it is to do with a mix of pregnancy and a change in weather and constantly being in air conditioning, but my lips have been incredibly dry! To me, there is nothing more annoying (and ugly) than dry lips! Metta skincare is all natural and oil based so I pop this on at night and wake up every morning with super soft lips. This is going to be even more perfect for Winter so if you're prone to dry lips in the colder weather, pick yourself up some of this lip balm! Available on their website here or at

Cosima Skincare Purely Radiant Elixir (Balancing)* RRP AUD$49.00

Cosima Skincare is fast becoming my favourite. I'm planning a huge post with giant reviews on each product because I've had the opportunity to try so many of their products but this one has been one of my top two.  It's purpose is to help regain younger more radiant skin. I use this one each night after I cleanse as my serum. It's an oil which I LOVE and I just let it settle in whilst I'm in bed reading or blogging or scrolling through instagram and then I add my moisturiser just before I go to sleep. I have definitely noticed a big difference in the hydration of my skin since using this and I do feel like my skin is a lot brighter than it was before as well. I honestly recommend anything from Cosima but if you need help in the brightening & hydration departments, this will be your go to!

ECO. Modern Essentials erase Natural Body Oil* RRP AUD$15.00

I received this amazing product at the Malouf Pharmacies Australian Brand Showcase which you can read about here. This oil is made to improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and blemishes. I will be using this more after pregnancy (not that I have developed any stretch marks - HELL YES) but I want to keep my skin hydrated and smooth. This oil has sunflower, macadamia and lots of other delicious smelling ingredients so one of my favourite things about this one is the smell! YUMMM. I would describe this as a natural alternative to Bio Oil - which I also love using. ECO. is Australian made and owned!

What have you been loving this month?! I LOVE reading favourites posts so please feel free to link yours down below!

Keep smiling!
